Department/Lab: Ron A junior postdoctoral position is available to study the cellular & molecular basis of addiction using whole-cell patch-clamp electrophysiology in the laboratory of Dr. Dorit Ron. Our areas of interest include regulation of synaptic transmission and ion channels/receptors via kinases, phosphatases and small G proteins. Our lab consists of a multidisciplinary team of scientists with a variety of backgrounds including electrophysiology, molecular biology, and behavioral science. Candidates should have a background in neurophysiology, molecular biology, and/or behavioral neuroscience. Experience in brain slice patch-clamp recording techniques is preferred.
