Dr. Raymond L. White awarded the Public Service Medal of the Government of Singapore

On November 7, 2010, Dr. Raymond L. White, Director of the Gallo Center, was awarded the Public Service Medal of the Government of Singapore. The Public Service Medal is awarded to an individual who “has rendered commendable public service in Singapore or for his achievement in the field of arts and letters, sports, the sciences, business, the professions, and the labour movement.” Dr. White has served for several years on the Scientific Advisory Board of the Genome Institute of Singapore and currently serves as its Chairman.
